Nick McPherson — better known as DJ NVision — is an experienced wedding, private event, and nightlife DJ known for his upbeat energy, smooth transitions, and confident MC style. He takes a collaborative approach with every client, working one-on-one to shape the music, timeline, and overall vibe so each celebration feels intentional and completely customized.
Nick earned his degree in Digital Forensics from the University at Albany (SUNY Albany) and currently works as a Network Analyst for the Schenectady City School District. His background in tech blends naturally with his creativity behind the booth, allowing him to approach events with both precision and personality.
Over the past decade, DJ NVision has performed throughout New York’s 518 region at venues such as Wolff’s Biergarten, Soundbar Saratoga, The Misfit, Jamo’s Pub, and Christie’s on the Lake, among others. His career has also brought him beyond the U.S., with performances in destinations including Cancun, Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
A two-time finalist for the Times Union “Best Of” DJ award, Nick remains active in the DJ community as both a performer and educator. His mixes are syndicated through Mixsquad Nation, reaching listeners well beyond the venues he plays.
